Reserved for Heroes
Apr. 22, 2020 - May 24, 2020
Do you know a front line worker
who deserves some rest and relaxation?
You can nominate them for a Reserved for Heroes visit to Vermejo.
At Ted Turner Reserves, we believe heroes take the form of many different people. That’s why during this unpredictable and unsure time, we want to do something to support those on the front lines in our local communities and around the nation. As a small thank you, we’d like to donate a 4-night stay at Vermejo for these heroes, to bring recognition and awareness to all that they do. Maybe it’s a doctor, nurse or healthcare professional, a truck driver delivering essential supplies, a school teacher keeping her students on track. To nominate someone, follow the instructions below. We’ll be selecting nominees at random on June 1st.
Reserved for Heroes FAQ:
How do I nominate someone?
Post a photo or video of your nominee on your Instagram page and share a story about why they deserve to connect with nature at Vermejo. Tag your nominee and @TedTurnerReserves and use #reservedforheroes between April 22 – May 24 to enter them. Winning nominations will be notified via direct message on Instagram on June 1.
How long are nominations open?
Nominations are live from April 20 – May 24.
Why are you only recognizing New Mexico and Colorado healthcare workers?
During this difficult time, we want to take a moment to thank those in our community who are putting their lives on the line to keep us safe and healthy. Since Vermejo is set on the Colorado-New Mexico border, we opened this up to both states.
What is included in the trip?
The package will include 4 nights for 4 people, 2 days of private guides, 2 massages, and 1 cooking class. It can be used, based on availability, anytime in 2020 or 2021. Transportation to and from Vermejo and alcoholic beverages are not included.
