Women’s Fly Fishing Retreat

Jul. 31, 2020 - Aug. 6, 2020

Connect with nature and other women who share your passion for fly-fishing on this 3-night retreat. Choose July 31 – August 3, or August 3-6, 2020 to experience catching native Rio Grande Cutthroat trout that have been restored from the brink of extinction and are now thriving in the streams on Ted Turner’s private restored New Mexico wilderness. Wander through vibrant fields and forests studded with bison, elk, and deer to the edge of a creek that is cold, deep and loaded with unique fish.

Whether you’re a fly-fishing expert, or just getting started in the sport, this trip is for you. Our talented guides have spent countless hours fishing these waters, and love nothing more than crafting and angling experience that is tailor-made for you and your skill level.

After a fun-filled day of fishing, hiking, classes, and camaraderie, stop by the lounge for a cocktail and then dine on delicious field to table cuisine. Tell fish stories and enjoy s’ mores around a campfire before you sink into the luxurious comfort of a beautiful accommodation, built in the early 1900s and styled to feel like you’re living in the opulence of yesteryear.

Sharing this time with sister anglers soaking in the spectacular history and nature of Vermejo is sure to leave you with friendships and memories that last a lifetime.
