Ted Turner Promotes Jade McBride to President of Ted Turner Reserves
Atlanta, GA, February 17, 2022 – Jade McBride has been promoted to President of Ted Turner Reserves, the hospitality arm of Turner Enterprises that includes three reserves (Vermejo, Armendaris, and Ladder) and one retreat (Sierra Grande). McBride was formerly the Managing Director of Ted Turner Reserves, where he was responsible for business and guest operations for the properties under the brand along with leading renovations, growth initiatives, and ensuring all work ladders back to Ted Turner’s mission around conservation.
In his new role, McBride will be responsible for the continued growth and development of guest operations on Turner Lands, including the Armendaris Hacienda which will now fall under the responsibility of the Ted Turner Reserves hospitality group. Reservations for the Ladder and Armendaris properties will be available through the Ted Turner Reserves team, effective February 14, 2022. McBride’s promotion stems from Ted Turner’s recognition of the great work of the team in New Mexico to advance the conservation legacy and efforts onsite.

McBride has spent over five years at Ted Turner Reserves as the Managing Director before assuming the role of President. Before joining the Ted Turner Reserves team, McBride spent a few years in Montana at the Ranch at Rock Creek serving as General Manager where his responsibilities included planning growth initiatives and providing leadership for all aspects of the resort. Prior to this, McBride was part of the pre-opening team at Amangiri where he served as the Activities Director and grew the department to national recognition helping propel the property to achieve large revenue accomplishments. While at Amangiri, he also served as the Mayor of Big Water, Utah where he managed all of the town’s operations and led growth for four years.
